Governor Mitch Daniels announced Tuesday that Hoosiers will be receiving an automatic refund on their 2012 Indiana tax returns due to a $2 billion surplus at its fiscal year end June 30. Single taxpayers can expect to get at least $100 while joint filers can expect at least $200. The exact amount taxpayers can expect won’t be known until later this month, after the state closes its books for the fiscal year.
