- Graduated from Ball State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting
- Was Controller for a small manufacturer for four years after starting her career at a national public accounting firm in Louisville, KY
- Joined the firm in October 2010

Getting to Know Kelley

What was it about the accounting profession that drew your interest?

I like solving problems. Accounting is kinda like a puzzle. All the pieces have to fit, debits have to equal credits.

Tell us how you most enjoy helping clients:

I enjoy helping my clients with their day-to-day operations and teaching them how accounting is supposed to work and how to properly use their software to get them the information that they need to run their businesses.

What music/bands do you like to listen to?

I enjoy listening to all types of music, but right now my favorite band is Maroon 5.

What is your favorite sport/sports team and Why?

Growing up my family always watched IU basketball games and still to this day I try to not miss one. Living close to Bloomington now, my family and I have been able to enjoy actually going to games at Assembly Hall instead of watching on TV. We are huge IU basketball fans, but I enjoy watching all sports, especially the softball, basketball, and volleyball games my daughters are involved in.

Who inspires or motivates you and why?

I am inspired by my two daughters to be a positive role model for them as an example of a strong, independent working mother.

When you are not at work, what do you enjoy doing?

Boating in the summer, watching IU and Colts games, attending whatever sporting events the kids are involved in.
