Getting to Know Will

What wisdom would you offer to aspiring accountants?

If you want to be a CPA start studying for the CPA exams as soon as you are eligible to take them. They are much less daunting the closer you are to still being a college student.

What’s your career highlight?

Passing all four sections of the CPA exam on my first attempt. Which reminds me, Peter Olinto still owes me a free coffee...

What was your first job?

Cashier at a grocery store.

What types of movies do you like?

Action thrillers and science fiction.

What is your favorite sport / sports team and why?

College basketball, specifically Purdue basketball. I attended Purdue before changing my major to accounting and transferring to Ball State. I have been to a few home games in Mackey Arena and the atmosphere is always electric.

When you were a child, what did you want to do for a living?

Growing up I watched a lot of shows on the history and discovery channels, so I wanted to do something involving construction or engineering.
