Anita Sherman, Managing Partner, Announces Upcoming Sabbatical
Published:Beginning shortly after the partner’s strategic planning retreat in late June, I plan on beginning a sabbatical. Several years ago, I wrote an article about the benefits that a sabbatical can have on clients, the management team and employees as well as for the executive who experiences it and now I will see if my research and theories were valid!
Most sabbaticals are taken in one large, continuous block of time. However, I decided to take my sabbatical in 3 pieces; July 15-August 15, September 15-October 15 and February 15-March 15.
I am confident that our partners and managers are well-prepared to serve each of our client’s needs. In my absence, Jim Wagoner will become the Acting Managing Partner. Jim has 25 years of experience, including 15 as a partner at Greenwalt, and is well equipped to lead the practice during these times.
I am extremely grateful to my partners for allowing me this opportunity to reflect and recharge and look forward to the benefits that may come from stepping away temporarily.
I look forward to returning to my role as Managing Partner with renewed energy and a continued passion for the firm, our clients and the profession of public accounting.
