Additional Taxes to Migrate to INTIME System Beginning in September

Published:

Starting Tuesday, September 8, 2020, the Indiana Department of Revenue will be rolling out Phase 2 of their Project NextDOR, which includes moving additional taxes to the INTIME system.

Phase 2 will transfer the following taxes from the current INtax system to INTIME:

  • Sales
  • Withholding
  • Tire fee
  • Wireless prepaid fees
  • Food & beverage
  • County innkeeper
  • Motor vehicle rental
  • Heavy equipment rental
  • Consumer use tax

Current INtax users will need to move their accounts to INTIME. To register for INTIME, starting September 8, users will receive, in INtax, a special migration code, which is unique to the specific user and business access. That code will then be used to create a new username and password for INTIME. Once registered, users will then use INTIME going forward to file and pay the taxes above.

INtax will be accessible for the remainder of 2020, however, users are encouraged to start using INTIME as early as possible as INtax functionality will start to be reduced during this time.

Towards the end of August, the Department of Revenue will issue an INTIME Migration Quick Start Guide to help guide users through the migration process.
